I uninstalled Office 2013 and then installed Office 2016. I installed the KMS keyinto my Server 2008 R2 host. That key shows as genuine and licensed on the host. However, none of my clients are able to activate automatically. I get the error listed above if I try running cscript ospp.vbs /act on the client.
I installed the Office 2016volume licence pack as one Microsoft article suggested but it had no effect. I use VAMT on my host server. Does anyone have any other ideas? I Googled it like crazy and tried everything I could come up with. I even installed the hotfix that would fix cohostingof 2010 and 2013.

This gave me the rearm counts I actually needed to reset the machine IDs and lock down the image so that when the image is deployed to the clients,Office couls activate.
